باید چترم رو میاوردم (اما نیاوردم و پشیمونم)
Wish + past perfect
I wish I had brought my umbrella.
کاش چترم رو آورده بودم.
If only + past perfect
If only I had brought my umbrella.
کاش چترم رو اورده بودم.
میتوان از فرم منفی آن هم استفاده کرد.
If only I hadn't drunk too much last night.
I shouldn't have drunk too much
Extra example:
I should have memorised it better.
If only I had memorised it better.
