AM/IS/ARE GOING TO

یکی از کاربردهای going to بیان قصد و نیتی است که قصد داریم در آینده انجام دهیم که همراه با افعال to be به کار می روند.

to be + going to + infinitive
فعل بعد از going to به شکل مصدر است

I'm going to relax.
می خواهم استراحت کنم.
I'm gonna relax.
می خوام استراحت کنم.(غیر رسمی)

زمانی که بخواهیم عامیانه و سریع صحبت کنیم از gonna به جای going to استفاده می کنیم.

She's going to buy that dress.
she's gonna buy that dress.
او (اون) لباس را خواهد خرید.

I'm going to visit some old friends in Canada.
He's going to organize a party.
It's going to be OK.
We're going to have fun.
They're going to meet each other.
Everything is going to be All right tonight.

Negative Form
برای منفی کردن این ساختار not به بعد از am, is, are اضافه می کنیم.
to be + not + going to + infinitive

I'm not going to buy that dress.
I'm not gonna buy that dress.

She's not going to travel to Europe.
she isn't going to travel to Europe.
She's not gonna travel to Europe.

He isn't going to be there.
You aren't going to work.
They aren't going to organize the party.
It isn't going to be OK.
We aren't going to have fun.

Question Form
برای سوال پرسیدن am, is, are را پیش از فاعل می آوریم:
to be+Subj+going to+infinitive?

Where am I going to work?
How are you going to travel?
Who are they going to meet?
Where is it going to happen?
When is she going to leave?
Is he going to play football?
